Champagne Drappier - Clarevallis Extra Brut NV

This Champagne is sourced from organic plots, and partly ploughed by horse. This cuvée is elaborated from 75% of Pinot Noir, 10% of Pinot Meunier and 5% of Blanc Vrai (aka Pinot Blanc). The nose unveils elderberry and violet notes, with a lot of minerality. The palate is well-balanced with a discreet dosage and pretty bitters flavours.

Food Pairing: Delicious as an aperitif and accompanies seafood, especially lobster.

Champagne Drappier

The house, founded in 1808, produces both vintage and non-vintage cuvee from parcels of land which are particularly well exposed and extremely rich in limestone. For the most part they are located around Urville region of Champagne, where Pinot Noir, the predominant grape variety, finds its loveliest expression and allows the production of very elegant, aromatic wines.
