Champagne Drappier – Grande Sendrée Brut 2010

This rare champagne offers us the most beautiful expression of a terroir and a great vintage. Made from very old vines of a small plot (55% Pinot Noir & 45% Chardonnay), this prestigious Champagne surprises by its great fineness and powerful aromas. It has the aromas of honey, beeswax, marzipan, quince jelly and brioche. This harmony is extended in a delicate minerality and long finish.

Food Pairing: crayfish in a grapefruit sauce, a scallop carpaccio, poultry with truffles.

Champagne Drappier

The house, founded in 1808, produces both vintage and non-vintage cuvee from parcels of land which are particularly well exposed and extremely rich in limestone. For the most part they are located around Urville region of Champagne, where Pinot Noir, the predominant grape variety, finds its loveliest expression and allows the production of very elegant, aromatic wines.
